



"All animals at Lexington County Animal Services undergo temperament and physical exams before being placed for adoption. Temperament testing includes how the animal reacts with people, other animals, and any signs of food aggression. All animals are spayed or neutered before being placed for adoption. Some pets may need to return for suture removal or rabies vaccinations. You will be notified of any follow-up at the time of adoption."
