Neighborhood of the Week - Governors Grant

The debut Neighborhood of the Week is Governors Grant.

Governors Grant

Established around 1990, Governors Grant is one of the largest and most sought after neighborhoods in all of Lexington. In 1994, it was named the "Community of the Year" by the Columbia Home Builders Association. Even now in 2008, new phases are still being developed.

Off of Old Chapin Road, Governors Grant is being zoned for the "new" New Providence Elementary school currently under construction on Old Cherokee Road.

View the Governors Grant page on for more information including an interactive map and recent property sales.
